What is Nutrition Therapy?

Nutrition therapy is a science-based, functional medicine approach that focuses on treating the whole person. Instead of merely addressing the symptom, the goal is to identify and resolve the root cause of the problem through evidence-based research and recommendations. This approach considers a person's health history, family background, current symptoms, and lab results to uncover underlying imbalances. By evaluating an individual’s unique needs, nutrition therapy provides personalised guidance on diet, lifestyle, and supplementation, helping to restore balance and correct any issues in the body.

A Personalised Approach.

We are all unique, shaped by our individual genetics, lifestyle, and environment. What works for one person may not work for another, which is why a personalised approach is so effective. Through a comprehensive consultation, we will uncover the root causes of your health challenges and identify your specific needs. Together, we'll define your goals, explore how you want to feel, and create a tailored nutrition and lifestyle plan that works best for you.

During an initial consultation, we will take a comprehensive look at your full health history, current symptoms, diet, lifestyle, sleep, stress and any relevant test results. From there, I will put together a personalised plan covering dietary recommendations, lifestyle adjustments and supplementation where appropriate. Follow-up appointments allow us to review your progress, refine the plan and continue building on your results. Initial consultations and programmes are available online worldwide or in person at Body and Mind Wellness Centre, Gibraltar. Not sure if nutrition therapy is right for you?
